Fritschi has combined a side-release Tech toe piece with a very stable alpine ski heel piece that won't twist or lose efficiency or power.

Description

Fritschi has combined a side-release Tech toe piece with a very stable alpine ski heel piece that won't rotate or lose efficiency or power. These bindings have the same toe as the Vipec EVO model (automatic entry, easy to use and quick release in the event of a forward fall), but they have a heel piece designed to accept boots with Tech inserts. The binding rails effectively block your boot by filling the space provided for the Tech inserts in the heel. This system allows you to quickly switch from ascent mode to descent mode, or vice versa, without having to release your boot from the binding.

DIN standard approved by TÜV; DIN adjustment from 5 to 12
Micro-adjust toe piece accepts any model of boot with Tech inserts
Lateral clearance at the stop having an elasticity of 13 mm to prevent unwanted clearances
Adjustable vertical heel clearance with 9mm stretch
Heel cup designed to allow natural ski flex and eliminate the risk of unwanted releases
Toe piece designed to trigger after the heel piece in the event of a forward fall
Positioning guides and trigger for easy donning and doffing
Non-rotating heel piece promotes power transfer
Rails engaging with Tech inserts in the heel for greater lateral stability
Positioning of the mounting screws in the torsion resistant toe and torsion resistance plate fixed to the ski under the heel piece providing stability and a good transfer of power from the boot to the ski
Lever that you can operate with your pole to easily switch from downhill to uphill mode without having to release your boot from the binding
Two heel lift plates for increased comfort on climbs
Three Brake Formats: Benchmarks differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. European brand brakes, such as Fritschi, will generally accommodate a ski 5-8mm wider than the stated width. Those of North American brand, like Black Diamond, correspond more to the real width of the ski.
Possibility to remove the brakes or buy them separately
