It's a modern take on the windbreaker, the one you keep in your pocket for a long descent or throw on for the first hour of racing until the day warms up. This jacket was once a simple affair – a nylon shell – but the lack of stretch meant it had to be cut generously to fit all body shapes, both on and off the bike. |We have completely reimagined what a nylon jacket should be and how it is constructed. We've added panels to the sides and sleeves, in a very stretchy but very thick fabric, which allows us to give the jacket a modern, close-fitting fit for aerodynamic gains on any terrain, and which actually retains more heat than a jacket that flies around. We've kept it very compact so it can fit in minimal space in a jersey pocket. The stretch panels are treated to be water repellent, which will come in handy in a light mist, but it's not a real raincoat.
