At 1060 grams, the Backland 85 definitely favors efficiency on the uphill, but Atomic knows how to retain downhill performance in their light skis and does so by keeping the torsional stiffness high and adding a carbon backbone for structural integrity. Pre-cut, 100% mohair Hybrid climbing skins are included, so when you're ready to point it in both directions, put this one in your cart.
All Mountain Rocker – 15% Tip Rocker / 85% Camber / Flat Tail
HRZN Tech Tip – HRZN Tech adds 10% more surface area at your ski tips. For awesome flotation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop.
Ultra Light Woodcore – Alternating laminates of poplar and Caruba woods make this core both light and stout.
