An incredibly lightweight and highly versatile all-round touring ski designed for women drawn to alpine touring, Atomic Backland 86 W SL is built with superlight SL Fiberglass, Ultra Light Woodcore construction and a Carbon Backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient uphill climbing. The result of this material combination is a ski that is super lightweight and excels at every aspect of backcountry skiing. The overall weight of this ski sits between Backland UL and regular Backland skis. Specifically shaped underfoot to allow for easier travel when climbing, especially on longer traverses, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN Tech in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow. The cut-out notch in the tips makes for quick transitioning of Atomic’s Pre-Fit skins.
